She’s also appeared in well over thirty short films and webseries, taking out best actress award for a few of them. Mahals didn’t get to do a speech but if she did she’d thank her Grade 2/3 teacher Mrs Sideropolous (who wasn’t a hippopotamus despite the rhyme she used to chant) for pushing her into it.
